Whitney Postan is QuickBooks Pro Certified as of 2015.

She has a bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston-Downtown and two Associates from Houston Community College.

She came to work for Bookkeepers of Houston, Inc. to pursue a different career path.

She serves people in and around the Houston Metropolitan area and remote clients via QuickBooks On-Line.

Whitney’s main goal is to keep clients finances accurate, up-to date and getting the clients reports to them in a timely manner.

She does this to help clients be more successful in their companies.

The one thing that Whitney really loves about bookkeeping is going into the Chart of Accounts and adjusting, if needed, to help clients read their reports easier and to give to their CPA’s.

She is an expert in QuickBooks On-Line and has the latest QuickBooks Certification from Intuit.

“About two years ago, the board of directors of Rose Tree Condominiums Homeowner’s Association decided to hire Bookkeepers of Houston to manage the association’s financial records. Helping us recover from an accounting disaster in which the previous board kept no discernable financial records, Theresa and Whitney Postan have been phenomenal in managing the accounts of individual condo owners within the HOA. They helped mainstream the dues payment process by installing a check/money order scanning device in their office that automatically deposits to the HOA bank account, and they receive these payments in their secure P.O. Box. Using view-only access (a great option if you want an added layer of protection, although we have come to completely trust Theresa and Whitney), Bookkeepers of Houston continuously reconciles our bank account with our QuickBooks account. All of this combined has taken the burden of account management off of me as treasurer and allowed me to focus on the big picture of budget and operations.

As we engage in collections using our attorney from time to time, we are at ease and confident knowing that the financial records provided by Bookkeepers of Houston are complete, up to date, and accurate.
